  • IT-Dienstleister als Akteure zur Stärkung der IT-Sicherheit bei KMU in Deutschland

Together with Neue Köhler Managementgesellschaft (NKMG) and the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW), BIGS has conducted a study funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) on the topic of “IT service providers as actors for strengthening IT security among SMEs in Germany”. Since there have not yet been sufficient analyses, surveys and studies on the topic of IT service providers as a security factor among SMEs, the study is based on individual assessments of the development of IT security among and for SMEs, closing any existing gaps in communication between IT service providers and potential customers (SMEs) and thus ensuring more IT security in Germany as a business location. The results of the study and a series of recommendations for action were summarised and published in a follow-up report.

You can find the appendix to the study here.
