For the state of Brandenburg, the preparation of a police security concept for local public transport is planned. However, it can be assumed that a large proportion of Brandenburg’s transport companies are not yet specifically addressing the issue of “safety in public transport”. In many cases, the topic “security” is dealt with on a case-by-case basis and in the course of operations. There are no uniform requirements for security concepts of transport companies and infrastructure operators of security relevant data for public transport.
