Results and trends from the young field of civil security research have so far only marginally been incorporated into company training and further education. A wide range of points of contact with central security research topics can be identified and synergies between the two areas can be created through improved knowledge transfer. This BIGS point of view is intended to facilitate the dialogue between the two areas by recording and analysing relevant training and further training offerings and to support the transfer of knowledge from research to training and teaching.
