German Peace Index 2020

29. May 2020 @ 10:00 - 12:00

We would like to present to you, together with the authors, the new German Peace Index 2020. The internationally renowned Australian Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) is certainly known by many of you in connection with the Global Peace Index, as well as the UK Peace Index. In 2019, Germany was listed there in 22nd place out of 163 countries. Since 2013, however, there have not only been positive developments in our country in connection with social peace, which prompted the colleagues of the IEP to give Germany special consideration. The Brandenburg Institute for Society and Security played an advisory role in this process.

Serge Stroobants and Mohib Iqbal from IEP would like to explain and discuss with you the recently completed first report on the German Peace Index. Their talk will be in English.

If you are interested, please register until Wednesday, 27.05.2020, by e-mail to: info@bigs-potsdam.org. We will then send you the link to the webinar.
