Dr. Wolfgang Bretschneider

Dr Wolfgang Bretschneider has been a non-resident fellow at the BIGS since 2018. He is particularly interested in economic and institutional issues of internal security and worked, among other things, on the BMBF project “The Order of the Security Market (OSiMa)". Bretschneider studied economics and music in Leipzig and received his doctorate in economics from the University of Leipzig in 2016. He is a member of the Schumpeter Center for Research on Socio-Economic Change (JSEC) at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
