Sebastian Geschonke

Sebastian Geschonke has been working as a research assistant at BIGS since April 2025 and is primarily responsible for the CEDAR project.

Sebastian Geschonke is currently completing his PhD in Economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. His research focuses on international trade and tariffs over long periods of time. His research touches on business, meta science, and open science. Previously, he studied Economics in Berlin, Toulouse and Stockholm with a focus on empirical analysis. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Philosophy at the University of Potsdam.
