Hanna Denecke

Hanna Denecke is currently a junior research fellow at BIGS and primarily responsible for the project AIRCIS – Artificial Intelligence in Rescue Chains.

Hanna Denecke completed her MA in Security and Terrorism at the University of Kent in England. For her BA she studied International Studies with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Previously, she gathered work experience at the Peace Research Institute in Frankfurt, the Conflict Analysis Research Centre in Kent and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Israel. Her research interests focus on security studies and terrorism.
