Hanna Denecke started her position as research associate at the BIGS in October 2020. She is responsible for the scientific dissemination of the project CyberFactory#1. The international Itea3-project aims at developing key enabling capabilities to optimise and increase the resilience of the factory of the future.
Hanna Denecke completed her MA in Security and Terrorism at the University of Kent in England. For her BA she studied International Studies with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Previously, she gathered work experience at the Peace Research Institute in Frankfurt, the Conflict Analysis Research Centre in Kent and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Israel. Her research interests focus on security studies and terrorism.
