The mFund project AIRCIS – Artificial Intelligence in Rescue Chains aimed to increase the resilience of rescue services in Lusatia. To this end, the number of incidents was predicted using artificial intelligence based on historical data from a control center, and a simulation was developed to replicate the entire rescue chain. By integrating additional data, such as weather warnings, control centers can be supported in the targeted planning of their resources. The project outcomes and the resulting recommendations for action are presented in the study.
