This study presents the results of a comprehensive opinion survey of employees and vocational trainees aged up to 35 in the private security industry in Germany. The survey examined how young people perceive their work, training, and career prospects in this sector and aims to contribute to improving understanding among sectoral social partners.

The study was conducted by BIGS as part of the EU-funded project INTEL: Next Generation. The project is coordinated by the Confederation of European Security Services (CoESS) and UNI Europa (the European trade union for service workers) with the support of the German Security Industry Association (BDSW). The project examines the extent to which current vocational training models are sustainable and how the sector can be made more attractive to new workers.
