Germany’s digital infrastructure is a central component of its security architecture. As government, industry, energy supply, and logistics are increasingly controlled digitally, network outages can have significant impacts on the security of supply, the economy, and the government’s ability to function. At the same time, the threat posed by cyberattacks, espionage, and sabotage remains high.
